Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Techvidah platform (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an institution, you confirm you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Institutions are responsible for ensuring their students meet this requirement.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Do not share your account with others. Institutional plans allow separate accounts per teacher or student — use those instead.
• Notify us immediately at support@techvidah.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

You may use the Service for its intended purpose — online test-taking, studying and managing an educational programme. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy or redistribute content from the platform.
• Use automated bots or scripts to take tests, generate fake results or inflate rankings.
• Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates another party's intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to access data belonging to other users or institutions.
• Use the platform to conduct any activity that violates Indian law.

Your content: Question papers, student data and custom content uploaded by you remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and display it as needed to provide the Service.

Our content: The platform UI, design, codebase, default question bank and AI-generated content created on our infrastructure are owned by Techvidah. You may not reproduce them without written permission.

AI-generated content: Content created by the AI question generator or AI study plan tool is generated for your use within the platform. No warranties are made as to its accuracy for exam purposes — always review AI output before publishing.

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). GST is charged in addition to displayed prices.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms.
• Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of payment if fewer than 2 tests have been conducted. Contact support@techvidah.com.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.

Either party may terminate at any time. If you terminate a paid subscription, access continues until the end of the paid billing period. No partial refunds are issued for early termination of annual plans except within the 7-day refund window.

We may terminate immediately for violation of these Terms. On termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then deleted, unless you request an earlier deletion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techvidah's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages — including loss of exam marks, missed admissions, or business losses — arising from use or inability to use the Service.

The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranties that:

• AI-generated questions, study plans or answers are free from errors.
• Test results correlate with actual entrance exam performance.
• The platform will be available without interruption.

Use of AI features for exam preparation is supplementary — do not rely solely on AI-generated content.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
